CHICAGO — A woman is suing the Chicago Transit Authority and a CTA employee for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Antonia Saldivar filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging a CTA driver failed to keep a proper look out for passengers who were attempting to board a bus.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she sustained serious physical injuries when she got knocked to the ground while attempting to board a bus on Oct. 28, 2016. She claims she also was dragged by the bus.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus interest and court costs. She is represented by Nolan Law Group in Chicago.
