CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Chicago Ridge Nursing Center LLC, Nivram Management Inc., Dr. Rajneesh Salwan and several nurses for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Willie Dixon, independent administrator of the estate of Queen Heron, filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging Heron sustained serious physical injuries as the result of the rapid decline of her blood glucose levels, which allegedly resulted in hypoglycemia. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately monitor Heron's condition to prevent the decline of her blood glucose.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Margaret P. Battersby Black and Andrew J. Thut of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
