Beth Anne Place allegedly failed to prevent patient from falling

CHICAGO — A man is suing Beth Anne Place for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent a woman's injuries.

Floyd Vick, independent administrator of the estate of Ruthie Jones, filed a complaint on Oct. 2 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Jones suffered a fall in April while she was taking a shower, which allegedly contributed to the deterioration of her overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately assist Jones while bathing to prevent her from falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Scot R. Libersher of Dicker & Dicker in Chicago.
