Mado Healthcare Douglas Park, others allegedly failed to prevent man from being physically assaulted

CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Mado Healthcare Douglas Park and affiliated entities for alleged negligence.

Bridgett Travis, independent administrator of the estate of Timothy Everett, filed a complaint on Oct. 6 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Timothy Everett was attacked by another resident, which allegedly caused a brain bleed, broken jaw and a facial laceration. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to supervise Everett while he was at their facility to prevent the assault.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Kelly Sabo Gaden and Kristen N. Koeller of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
