CHICAGO — A couple is suingAspen Dental and dentist Michelle Brown for alleged negligence.
Genie Simonek and Nicholas Simonek filed a complaint on Oct. 6 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants extracted the wrong tooth from Genie Simonek in December 2015. The plaintiffs holds the defendants responsible for allegedly drilling through the root of tooth No. 5 instead of tooth No. 4. Then the defendants allegedly removed tooth No. 5, as well.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by John M. Power and Hadas M. Corey of Cogan & Power P.C. in Chicago.
