Advocate South Suburban Hospital allegedly failed to prevent patient from falling

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Advocate South Suburban Hospital for alleged negligence.

Rosemary Ingram-Cowe filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she suffered a fall, which allegedly caused her to fracture her right toe, sprain her ankle and experience increased back pain. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide her with proper assistance or implement a care plan to address her risk of falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount sufficient to compensate the plaintiff for her injuries and damages. She is represented by Jonathan W. Young of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
