By Louie Torres | Nov 16, 2017

CHICAGO — A man is suing Zachary T. Liberman for alleged defamation.

Christian Picciolini, former chairperson of Life After Hate Inc., filed a complaint on Oct. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant made false claims about him and his business with the alleged intent to defame him.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he sustained damages to his organization and reputation when the defendant allegedly falsely claimed he had committed a criminal act.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages that exceed $75,000, and punitive damages that exceed $150,000. He also seeks to enjoin the defendant, require the defendant to publish statements that his claims about him were false and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by David S. Wayne, Robert Strauss and Kathleen A. Barrett of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP in Chicago.
