CHICAGO — A company is suing the Law Office of Keith Shindler Ltd., which does business as Shindler & Joyce, for alleged breach of malpractice.
First Financial Investment Fund III LLC filed a complaint on Oct. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant failed to properly defend the company against a counter-claim that was filed against it, forcing it to hire a new counsel. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to disclose a conflict of interest in defending the plaintiff against the counter-claim.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, interest and any further relief this court grants. The defendant is represented by Nicole M. Strickler and Stephanie A. Strickler of Messer Strickler Ltd. in Chicago.
