Loyola Medicine, doctors allegedly failed to treat post-surgery infection

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Loyola Medicine, Dr. Adam Kabaker and Dr. Casey Holmes for alleged negligence.

Ronee Farris-Patton filed a complaint on Oct. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she developed an infection after she underwent a surgery on her thyroid. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to treat the infection after the surgery.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus any further relief this court grants. She is represented by James A. Karamanis of Barney & Karamanis LLP in Chicago.
