CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Isobel S. Thomas and Clifford Law Offices P.C. for alleged breach of contract, fraudulent concealment and negligence.

Mark Michel, independent administrator of the estate of Robert Brian Michel, filed a complaint on Oct. 27 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly represent him in a wrongful death case he had brought against the state of Illinois, leading to the case being terminated and extinguished. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly filing a suit against the wrong party or in the wrong forum and allowing junior attorneys to handle the case.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $30,000 in compensatory damages. He is represented by Mark E. McNabola and Donald R. McGarrah of McNabola Law Group P.C. in Chicago.
