CHICAGO — A woman is suing Dr. Steve J. Kim and Northwestern Memorial Healthcare for alleged negligence.
Karen Donovan, special administrator of the estate of Charles Donovan, filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Charles Donovan sustained serious physical injuries which led to his death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly assess Donovan's medical and emotional condition before increasing his dosage of a medication.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by David C. Wise and David J. Rashid of Burke Wise Morrissey & Kaveny in Chicago.
