CHICAGO — A woman is suing Chalet Living & Rehab, Legacy Healthcare, Legacy Consulting LLC, and two nurses for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent a man's injuries and wrongful death.

Ignazia Angela Daidone, independent administrator executor of the estate of James A. Mack, filed a complaint on Dec. 4 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Mack developed pressure sores that allegedly contributed to the deterioration of his overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise Mack to prevent him from developing pressure sores and timely provide the treatment he needed.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Cari F. Silverman and Pamela Dimo of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
