CHICAGO — A woman is suing Alden Lincoln Park and Alden Lincoln Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and wrongful death.
Teena Christmas, independent executor of the estate of Al D. Ellison, filed a complaint on Dec. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Ellison suffered a skin breakdown that also caused an infection and contributed to the deterioration of his health while in the defendants' care.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 for damages plus court costs. She is represented by Howard M. Zavell of Dickler, Kahn, Slowikowski & Zavell Ltd. in Arlington Heights.
