CHICAGO — A woman is suing Cermak Produce No. 7 Inc. and her male supervisor for alleged sexual harassment.
The unidentified plaintiff filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the company allowed the man, who served as her direct supervisor, to sexually harass her during her employment.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the man made lewd comments and touched her despite her request to stop. The plaintiff alleges Cermak Produce No. 7 failed to do anything to prevent the alleged harassment from happening.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Valentin T. Narvaez of Consumer Law Group LLC in Chicago.
