Asada Mexican Grill allegedly failed to prevent television from falling on man's head

CHICAGO — A man is suing Asada Mexican Grill and Mirpur Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Charles M. Williams Jr. filed a complaint on Dec. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he sustained physical injuries on Feb. 4, 2016, when a television allegedly fell off the wall and hit him on the head. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to make sure that the television was properly secured.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount sufficient to compensate him for damages, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by William A. Theodoros and Kelly A. Sheets of Theodoros & Rooth P.C. in Merrillville, Ind.
