CHICAGO — A woman is suing Dr. Christopher Sullivan and the University of Chicago Medical Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent her daughter's injuries.

Jennifer Moss filed a complaint on Dec. 12 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging her daughter suffered serious physical injuries as a result of a multi-level spinal fusion performed on her. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly perform the procedure on her daughter and recognize that her complaints were the result of a spinal cord or nerve root compression.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Nicholas C. Syregelas of Syregelas & Kasmarick LLC in Chicago.
