CHICAGO — A man is suing LSML Properties LLC and Frontier Realty Group Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
George Johnson filed a complaint on Dec. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he sustained severe physical injuries when a large piece of plaster allegedly fell from the ceiling while he was sitting in one of the defendants' apartments. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to warn him or repair the defects despite allegedly knowing that the ceiling was defective.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Kathleen Walsh of Karp and Ellis in Chicago.
