Currie Motors Frankfort, others allegedly failed to prevent woman from falling

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Currie Motors Frankfort Inc., Curfin Property Holding Inc., Currie Motors Driver's Edge, Currie Motors Auto Credit Outlet, Currie Motors Chevrolet Inc., Frank Currie Motors and First National Bank of Evergreen Park for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Angellinn M. Caffarini filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained serious physical injuries, including a broken patella in her right knee, when she allegedly slipped and fell on Dec. 29, 2016. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to remove an unnatural accumulation of snow and ice that allegedly existed on the property.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Joseph R. Marconi and Ava L. Caffarini of Johnson & Bell Ltd. in Chicago.
