Tri-State Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Inc. sued over patient's pressure ulcers, wrongful death

CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Tri-State Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Inc. and related entities for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and wrongful death.

Nancy Osborn, special administrator of the estate of Andres Uribe, filed a complaint on Dec. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Uribe developed pressure ulcers, which allegedly contributed to the deterioration of his health.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Molly L. Condon of Hurley, McKenna & Mertz P.C. in Chicago.
