CHICAGO — A man is suing Dunkin' Donuts of Illinois Inc. and affiliated corporate entities for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Tramell Winchester filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he sustained undisclosed physical injuries when a panel fell and hit him on Jan. 16, 2016, at a Chicago Dunkin' Donuts restaurant in the 6200 block of S. Halsted Parkway. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to make sure that the panel found in their common area was properly secured.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by the Law Office of Andrew S. Kryder LLC in Chicago.
