CHICAGO — A man and his company are suing Chris Fotopoulos, John Ryan Potts, Matthew B. Brotschul and Brotschul Potts LLC for alleged legal malpractice.
Theodore Mantas and Mazeka LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly represent them in a case filed by a former tenant, costing them the chance to negotiate a favorable settlement. Judgment allegedly was entered against them for $46,400. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to meet deadlines to file their pleading for the lawsuit that was filed against them.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Kyle R. Kasmarick of Syregelas & Kasmarick LLC in Chicago.
