Advocate Trinity Hospital allegedly failed to properly transport patient through hospital

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Advocate Trinity Hospital, Advocate Health Partners and Anointed Health Partners for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Priscilla Brantley filed a complaint on Dec. 26 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained physical injuries when she was pushed into a wall, allegedly causing a used needle disposal box to fall on her head. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly and safely transport her through the hospital.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $30,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Joseph L. Dombrowski of Dombrowski, Sorensen & Gigac in Chicago.
