CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Wentworth Rehab & Health Care Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and wrongful death.

Debra Jones, independent administrator to collect for the estate of Roberta Boulden, filed a complaint on Dec. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Boulden suffered from fecal impaction while in the defendants' care, resulting in hospitalization and surgery. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to properly monitor Boulden's condition and ensure she received the prescribed laxatives that she needed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by James M. Kellerman of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
