CHICAGO — A company is suing Avanti Wellness and Rehabilitation for alleged breach of contract.
Sadie Rivera LLC, as assignee of Pharmore Drugs LLC, filed a complaint on Dec. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant failed to make any payments from Dec. 31, 2015, to July 31, 2017. The alleged past-due payments were initially supposed to go to Pharmore Drugs LLC, which later assigned the rights to collect payment to Sadie Rivera LLC.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount no less than $1.04 million, plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Edward D. Shapiro, Lorne T. Saeks and Daniel A. Hantman of Much Shelist P.C. in Chicago.
