CHICAGO — A man is suing Dr. Timothy Votapka and Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgical Associates S.C. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Tom Huelskamp filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he sustained serious physical injuries, allegedly caused by a thromboembolism after the defendants allegedly failed to provide him with bridging therapy.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. He is represented by Bradley Z. Schulman of Motherway & Napleton LLP in Chicago.
