CHICAGO — A woman is suing Union Medical Center, Cityscape Landscape LLC, Beef-Boners Union and Chicago Title Land Trust Company for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Gladys Okpalkeke filed a complaint on Jan. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained serious physical injuries when she allegedly slipped and fell on water that had accumulated on the defendants' premises. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to remove the water from their premises or warn her about the hazardous conditions of the floor.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Jason H. Sherwood of Sherwood Law Group LLC in Chicago.
