CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Presence Life Connections and Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Fay Renella, independent administrator to collect for the estate of Jeanette Kron, filed a complaint on Jan. 18 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to provide Kron with proper care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Kron experienced pain that allegedly was caused by a pressure ulcer. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Kron in order to prevent her from developing a pressure ulcer.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for all medical expenses, damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Jason M. Kroot of Goldberg Weisman Cairo in Chicago.
