CHICAGO — A company is suing Graphic Promotions Inc. for alleged breach of contract, breach of warranty and fraud.
PLS Financial Services Inc. filed a complaint on Jan. 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant provided it with defective light boxes.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it purchased LED light boxes that it claims were defective. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly saying that its light boxes were manufactured in Canada, which, according to the complaint, is false.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount no less than $816,163. The plaintiff also wants the products to be repaired or replaced, plus punitive damages and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Mark P. Miller and Austin J. Burke of Barnes & Thornburg LLP in Chicago.
