CHICAGO — A man is suing the City of Chicago, O'Hare Airport Transit System Inc., the Chicago Department of Aviation and the Chicago Airport System for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Brad Hansen filed a complaint on Jan. 24 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he sustained serious physical injuries on May 13 when he allegedly slipped and fell down a staircase. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly allowing all passengers to descend the staircase at the same time, which allegedly caused the hazardous situation that precipitated the fall.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 and court costs. He is represented by Robert J. Adelman of Levin, Riback Law Group P.C. in Chicago.
