CHICAGO — A Glenwood couple is suing Raquel Parker for alleged liability and negligence.

Nicholas and Shirley Tedeschi filed a complaint on Jan. 23 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant allowed her guest to flip his cigarette from a balcony, causing the plaintiffs’ condominium in the 800 block of East 191st Street, Glenwood, to catch fire on Feb. 13, 2016.

The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to supervise her guest and have a fire extinguisher handy.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. They are represented by Ernest T. Rossiello & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
