CHICAGO — A woman is suing the Chicago Transit Authority for alleged negligence.

Elizabeth Carver filed a complaint on Jan. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained physical injuries on March 24, 2014, when the Blue Line train she was riding in jumped the tracks at the O'Hare station. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to make sure that its rail system was working properly and that its train conductors were not too tired.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Robert A. Clifford, Kevin P. Durkin and Kristofer S. Riddle of Clifford Law Offices in Chicago.
