CHICAGO — A tenant has filed a class action lawsuit against Real Property Management Chicago Group, Mickelson Brothers II LLC and Raven Flowers for alleged violation of state law.
Andre Muse filed the complaint on Jan. 25 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to return his security deposit within 45 days after he vacated his unit, as required by the Chicago Residential Landlords and Tenants Ordinance.
The plaintiff seeks an order for the defendant to return the security deposit to him, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Jeffrey Sobek of JS Law in Chicago.
