Manna Molecular Sciences LLC accused of fraudulent inducement in dispute over marijuana patches

CHICAGO — A medican marijuana business is suing Manna Molecular Sciences LLC for alleged fraudulent inducement.

Green Delta Ventures LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 25 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant induced it into signing an agreement the defendant allegedly had no intention of complying with, centering on the rights to directly sell medical marijuana patches in California, Washington and Oregon using the defendant’s formula.

The plaintiff seeks to block the defendant from initiating any arbitration proceedings prior to mediation as provided for in the agreement. The plaintiff is represented by Alexander Loftus of Stoltmann Law Offices in Chicago.
