CHICAGO — A woman is suing Ariel Weissberg and Weissberg and Associates Ltd. for alleged breach of contract.

Sandra Cohen filed a complaint on Jan. 29 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide her with proper legal representation for a bankruptcy proceeding.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she had to pay for a new attorney and was forced to pay the trustee in bankruptcy. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to keep her informed about the "status of the representation," inform her about a conflict of interest and adequately prepare her to give her deposition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $75,000 and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Blaise & Nitschke P.C. in Chicago.
