CHICAGO — A woman is suing John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County and Symphony of Morgan Park for wrongful death and for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Ruby Hood, independent administrator of the estate of Anna Anderson, filed a complaint on Feb. 2 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Anderson developed pressure ulcers, which allegedly caused the deterioration of her overall health, while in the defendants' care.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Jason M. Kellerman of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
