Marque Medicos CEO sues Murphy & Hourihane LLC for breach of contract

CHICAGO — The owner of a back-and-neck clinic is suing Murphy & Hourihane LLC for alleged breach of contract and negligence.

Derrick Wallery, president and CEO at Marque Medicos Holdings, filed a complaint on Feb. 1 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to give him competent legal advice.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he sustained monetary damages from being found jointly liable in the amount of $513,065. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to properly represent and defend him, which allegedly caused him to be found jointly liable.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $513,065.44 and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by the Law Offices of Cathy A. Pilkington in Chicago.
