CHICAGO — A woman is suing the University of Chicago Medical Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Tina Robinson filed a complaint on Jan. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants did not properly treat her right leg and hip in Feb. 2016, leading to multiple surgeries. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to properly diagnose her condition and apply the necessary treatment in a timely manner.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Larry R. Rogers Jr. and Jonathan M. Thomas of Power, Rogers & Smith LLP in Chicago.
