Lexington Health Care Center of Lombard, Royal Management Corporation allegedly failed to prevent woman from falling

CHICAGO — An estate representative is suing Lexington Health Care Center of Lombard and Royal Management Corporation for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Andrew J. Fernandez, plenary guardian of the estate and person of Graciela Fernandez, filed a complaint on Feb. 5 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Graciela Fernandez fell, allegedly resulting in a lumbar and hip fracture. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise Graciela Fernandez to address her risk of falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Andrew J. Thut and Nadia Adam Ahmed of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
