CHICAGO — A man is suing Alden-Town Manor Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Inc., Alden Management Services Inc. and a nurse for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Peter L. Markos, independent executor of the estate of Stella Gessner, filed a complaint on Feb. 5 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Gessner suffered a fall that allegedly caused a retro orbital hematoma and blindness in her right eye while in the defendants' care.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Andrew J. Thut and Andrew R. Manno of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
