CHICAGO — A woman is suing Lemont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Mary Zmuda filed a complaint on Feb. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she experienced pain after developing multiple decubitus ulcers, including a stage IV left heel ulcer. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to prevent her from developing the ulcers.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Kent M. Lucaccioni Ltd. in Chicago.
