CHICAGO — A woman is suing Advocate Medical Group Christ Family Practice, Dr. Alon Bloom and Dr. Lovella Kanu for her son's wrongful death and allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent his injuries.
Susan Walsh, independent administrator of the estate of Stephen Walsh, filed a complaint on Feb. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Stephen Walsh showed symptoms of abnormal vital signs that allegedly were left untreated. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly assess Stephen Walsh's swelling in his legs and to hospitalize him for treatment.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Joseph A. Bosco, David Aron and Costa Diamond of LaRose & Bosco Ltd. in Chicago.
