Worker says Pepper Construction, Chicago Heights Glass owe for injuries suffered moving pallet

CHICAGO — A man is suing Pepper Construction Co. and Chicago Heights Glass Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Antonio Grossi filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide him with a reasonably safe work environment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he was injured on Oct. 12, 2016, while allegedly lifting a pallet filled with metal clips. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide him with a forklift to assist him with the pallet.
