CHICAGO — A man is suing Pepper Construction Co. and Chicago Heights Glass Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Antonio Grossi filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide him with a reasonably safe work environment.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he was injured on Oct. 12, 2016, while allegedly lifting a pallet filled with metal clips. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide him with a forklift to assist him with the pallet.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Mark C. Murnane of O'Connor & Nakos Ltd. in Chicago.
