Kindred Hospital Chicago Northlake allegedly failed to prevent woman from developing pressure sores

CHICAGO — Two estate administrators are suing THC - Chicago Inc., formerly known as Kindred Hospital Chicago Northlake, for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Daisy McLendon and Kenneth Jones, co-independent administrators to collect of the estate of Ida Jones, filed a complaint on Feb. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Ida Jones developed pressure sores, which allegedly caused the deterioration of her overall health. The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Jones to prevent her from developing pressure sores.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by Daniel A. Goldfaden of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
