CHICAGO — A woman is suing Nursepower Services Corp. and Lifetech Rehab Tech Supply for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Shenikia Hill, independent administrator of the estate of Robert Washington Jr., filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Washington sustained serious physical injuries after no personnel attended to him even after his ventilator allegedly stopped working. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly monitor Washington's condition to timely respond to his alleged distress.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $30,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Michael P. McCready of McCready, Garcia & Leet PC in Chicago.
