Aperion Care Moline allegedly failed to prevent patient from falling

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Aperion Care Inc. and Aperion Care Moline for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Janet Brown, guardian of the person and estate of Charles Brown, filed a complaint on Feb. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Charles Brown fell on Nov. 22, 2016 fracturing his sternum and injuring his face and head. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Brown to address his risk of falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by attorneys John E. Marszalek and Philip J. Farina, each of Chicago.
