CHICAGO — A patient is suing Dr. Louis Hiotis and Michigan Avenue Internists LLC for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Barbara Boyle filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she suffered carotid artery disease that was allegedly left untreated. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly diagnose her condition and provide her with the necessary treatment.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Joseph W. Balesteri of Power Rogers & Smith LLP in Chicago.
