Ballard Respiratory and Rehab Center, others allegedly failed to prevent man from suffering multiple falls

CHICAGO — A man is suing Ballard Respiratory and Rehab Center and Landmark of Des Plaines for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Darrin Boykin filed a complaint on Feb. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he suffered multiple falls, which allegedly resulted in several injuries that contributed to the deterioration of his health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide him with proper care and assistance to prevent him from falling.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Kelly Sabo Gaden of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
