Illinois Defense Counsel Association offers medical malpractice seminar in Chicago

The Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel will offer attorneys the chance to learn more about the latest trends in medical malpractice law at a special seminar.

Titled "“New Trends in Medical Malpractice: From Conflict Checks to Trial," the seminar, scheduled for Thursday, March 15, from noon to 5 p.m., at the Chicago offices of Hinshaw & Culbertson, 222 N. LaSalle St.,

Suite 300, will offer insights and information intended to help counsel, with a wide array of presentations, including 

·         The Reptile Theory – Cutting Off the Head of the Snake

·         Trying a Medical Malpractice Case with the Latest Exhibits and Technology

·         Update on Medicare Secondary Payment Laws

·         Birth Injury Updates

·         The Difficult Deposition

·         Update on Conflicts and Ethics Laws
