CHICAGO — A man has filed a class action lawsuit against The Lorali Building LLC, The Lorali Company LLC and James Stoller for allegedly violating the Chicago Municipal Code.
Michael Stein filed a complaint on Feb. 27 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging his rental property had a severe infestation of bedbugs, cockroaches and mice. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to take certain steps to address the infestation problem.
The plaintiff seeks an order requiring the defendants to ameliorate the unsanitary condition of their premises, plus damages, court costs, punitive damages and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Berton N. Ring and Sheryl Ring of Berton N. Ring P.C. in Chicago.
