CHICAGO — A man is suing Illinois Masonic Medical Center for alleged discrimination, hostile work environment and retaliation.
Robert Crum filed a complaint on March 6 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging he was publicly humiliated when he allegedly was subjected to a "false on-the-job arrest" by the Chicago Police Department. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly wrongfully terminating his employment after the alleged false arrest. The plaintiff also claims that the defendant failed to pay him 46 hours worth of wages.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for front pay, back pay, lost benefits, emotional damages, compensatory damages, court costs, punitive damages and any further relief this court grants. Crum filed the complaint pro se.
